Confusingly enough, CBD oil is believed to both offer relief to headaches and to cause them. However, the most plausible explanation seems to suggest that CBD-induced migraines could be caused by the solvents and other compounds found on lower quality CBD oil and not by CBD itself.
So the next time you’re buying CBD oil make sure you choose high-quality hemp-derived products and read the label to avoid buying anything containing ethanol, isopropanol, or other headache-inducing solvents.
Although there is no scientific evidence to back it up, some people have reported feeling nausea after using CBD; something which could be caused by using low-quality CBD oil or by taking a high dose.
If you feel mild stomach discomfort after taking CBD oil the best thing you can do is to lower your dosage until you find the right spot where CBD works on you without giving you stomach issues.
